The bond would build a new high school, expand career and technical education, improve safety and security, and create capacity for our popular and growing Bennett community.
Vote YES for more career paths and more choices for Bennett students.
A new high school would create the space Bennett needs to expand hands-on career and technical education.
Students could prepare for growing, in-demand, high-paying jobs in fields such as construction trades, medical technology, firefighting, agricultural technology and culinary arts while still having a strong path to college.
Bennett students already earned more than 70 industry-recognized certifications last year. A YES vote gives more students access to those kinds of practical skills and workforce opportunities.
Vote YES for safer schools starting at the front door.
If approved, the bond would secure main entries, modernize safety and security systems, improve exterior lighting, and reconfigure parking and traffic flow. Those improvements would reduce potentially unsafe access points, separate students more effectively by grade level and make bus, car and pedestrian movement more orderly.
Our investment lags most of Colorado’s other rural school districts of similar size by around 30% on average. That translates into real risk for our students beyond the quality of textbooks and learning. It means we can’t invest in our daily safety the way we’d like to. A yes vote helps us change that.
Vote YES to support Bennett athletics and activity spaces
Improvements include updates to spaces used for athletics, activities, and community events including:
- Football field and track improvements, including a new artificial turf football field and a new practice field for
Bennett High School - A new field house with dedicated program space for student as well as community use
- A Brand new wrestling room for student athletes to compete
- Additional practice fields and recreational areas, including a new gym for 3rd – 5th graders
These investments support coursework, student activities, and shared community use of district facilities.

Bennett is growing and our schools can’t keep pace.
Let’s change that.
New families are choosing Bennett, and many are bringing school-aged children. The district projects approximately 400 additional students within the next 10 years. Expanding and creating new classroom space now prepares for that growth, reduces pressure on aging facilities and gives students learning environments designed for their grade levels. It just makes sense to plan before today’s space constraints become tomorrow’s crisis.
Improve parking, traffic flow and everyday safety
Reconfigured parking, drop-off and pickup areas, and bus and car traffic flow would make daily arrivals and departures safer and more efficient for students, families and staff.

Build pride on the field and across the community
The plan includes improvements to athletic, practice, recreation and community spaces, including field and track work, practice areas, a field house and a new gym for grades 3-5.
